Meet Tamekia Hunter Ross
Tamekia Hunter Ross a/k/a “Minister T”, is a proud 1992 graduate of Sumter High School and thereafter received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science/Pre-Law from Francis Marion University in 1996. She has over twenty-five years of experience as a Paralegal in various types of law with a primary focus in Bankruptcy Law. After spending twenty years as a Paralegal, “Minister T” accepted a career transition in 2017 and currently works at Burnette Shutt & McDaniel Law Firm as their Intake Process Manager in Columbia, South Carolina. In November 2014, “Minister T” graduated from the Sonship School of the First Born under the leadership of the Late Bishop Nate Holcombe and The Christian House of Prayer (Killeen, Texas). Thereafter, she received a Certificate of License and Ordination in February 2015. She serves as one of the Associate Ministers of Victory Church.
In her spare time, you may find her shopping for shoes, handbags, and accessories that were captivated by her former Glam boutique business in Greenville, South Carolina. She is a living testament of God’s grace, mercy, and power within us. She travels every three weeks to the Cancer Treatment Centers in Newnan, Georgia for ongoing chemotherapy treatment for Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer. While battling and fighting for her life daily, God gives her the strength to get through 12-hour days of commuting and work and coming home to be a full-time wife and mother. You will often hear her say, “I don’t look like what I am going through”.
She is a native and current resident of Sumter, South Carolina. She is all smiles when it comes to being a devoted wife to the “Love of her Life” Arnteyus “A.J.” Ross, and mother to her boys, Cameron and Caleb. Together they have a blended family of six children and a bonus grandson who calls her “GLAM-Ma”. Minister T lives life daily giving God back His word, “Daughter (Tamekia), your Faith has healed you from Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer. Go in peace and be free of your infirmities”. On her bad days, she reminds herself of what God promised her, “This sickness (Metastatic Breast Cancer) will not end in death but so the son of God, Jesus Christ, will be glorified.”
Breast Cancer is just a platform Minister T uses to give Him Glory and draw people closer to Jesus because we were created to be Faith Strong!
